MTR Martco Acquires
Orman’s Welding Center

Middletown, Ohio (February 2005)-- MTR Martco, the Middletown, Ohio based manufacturer and re-builder of paper machine components, recently acquired Orman’s  Welding Center according to MTR Martco president Ray McIntosh.  Orman’s Welding Center specializes in steel, stainless steel and aluminum fabrications for a number of markets including the paper mill and steel industries.

“The acquisition is a great fit. Orman’s Welding Center not only enhances our fabrication capabilities, but enables us to provide field services to a variety of industries.  Martco can also expand the services Orman’s offers the steel industry by adding our capability to produce new components, rebuilds and repairs”, relates McIntosh.

Orman’s Welding Center was founded in 1970 by Edward C. Orman.  The business includes a 16,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in Middletown, Ohio, adjacent to MTR Martco.
